Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of painted limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a plain-tile roof, along with a brick stack at the right end. The building is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. There is a six-panel door located in the center, leading to a porch with a gabled plain-tile roof. On either side of the door, there are 12-pane sash windows. Above the ground-floor windows, there is a brick band. The cottage also has two gabled half-dormers, which contain 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
