Description
Trevethick is a house dating from the late 17th century, located in East Hagbourne. It features a rendered exterior, likely over brick, and has an old plain-tile roof with brick lateral stacks at the rear. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel part-glazed door with a flat hood above it. On either side of the door, there are 16-pane unhorned sash windows. The first floor also has three 16-pane unhorned sashes, each with wood architrave surrounds. At the rear, there is a cross-wing made of large timber framing with brick infill. To the right, there is an 18th-century addition that is two stories high with a single-window range. This addition features a Gothick topped French window on the ground floor and a 12-pane unhorned sash with a wood architrave surround on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
