Description

The Village Cross, located on the south side of East Hagbourne Main Road, dates back to the 15th century, with an 18th-century finial. It is constructed of stone and features a square base supported by five deep steps. The cross has a shaped base leading to a tapering octagonal shaft, which is set at an angle to the steps. The rectangular top includes sundials on three sides, while the fourth side has an eroded recess. At the top, there is a round ball-topped finial.
