Description

This is a house, likely dating from the late 17th century. It is probably built on a timber-frame structure with a render finish, and has a thatched roof with older plain-tile gabled half-dormer additions. A brick stack is centrally positioned on the ridge. The building follows an L-shaped plan, with a cross-wing extending to the rear right. The front facade presents as a two-storey, two-window range. A plank door is located to the left of the centre, alongside a two-light wooden casement window to the left and a three-light wooden casement to the right. A two-light wooden casement is found on the first floor to the left of centre. A gabled half-dormer to the right features a two-light wooden casement. The rear of the building shows timber framing, and a queen-post roof truss is visible in the gable-end of the cross-wing’s left side. The interior was not inspected.
