Description

College House Cottage is a small house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with squared quoins and timber lintels, topped by an old plain-tile roof with a brick ridge stack. The building features a 2-unit lobby-entry plan and has a later rear outshut. It stands two storeys high with a two-window front, which includes a central plank door flanked by 2-light casements. The first floor has similar windows, positioned closer to the centre. There are blocked entrances at both the extreme left and right, along with signs of early alterations to the ground-floor windows. The roof is hipped. The interior has not been inspected, and it is possible that the cottage was originally two separate cottages.
