Description
The Old Parsonage is a house built around 1830 to 1845, with later extensions added in the 19th century. It is constructed from dressed limestone and has a slate roof with gabled ends, along with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building features a two-room plan with a central entrance hall and a wing extending to the rear left.
The exterior is two storeys high and presents a symmetrical three-bay southwest front, which includes 12-pane sash windows and a central doorway topped with a rectangular overlight and a panelled door. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with sash windows on the southeast side, a single-storey wing added in the late 19th century on the gable end, and a late 19th-century addition located in the angle with the main range. The Old Parsonage is noted as a good and complete example of an early 19th-century house.
