Description

This is a cottage, likely dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The left-hand side is painted brick, while the right-hand side has roughcast rendering, likely on brick. The left-hand portion is timber-framed with brick infill. It has a plain tile roof and a rendered stack at the left end. The cottage is single-storey with an attic, and has a two-window front. A plank door is centrally positioned, with a three-light casement window to the left and right. There are two gabled dormers, probably dating to the 19th century. Inside, there is a blocked original fireplace on the ground floor to the left. Group value is an important consideration.
