Description
The Catherine Wheel Public House is a public house that likely dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations. It features painted brick and irregular timber framing with painted brick infill on the right side, topped with a plain tile roof and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. There are plank doors located to the left and to the left of the centre, and an outshut in the centre. The windows are arranged irregularly and consist of casements. The roof is gabled with a half-hipped cross-gable on the right side. Inside, there is a ridge stack and a chamfered spine beam with end stops in the main bar area.
