Description

MAGPIE LANE 1. 1485 (East Side) Nos 6 to 9 (consec) SP 5106 SE 9/369 II GV 2. Row of 4 houses of the "terrace type". Early C19 (after 1818). The ground floor is of ashlar on a stone plinth over cellars and the 1st and 2nd floors are stuccoed and there is a continuous stone band at the 1st floor. There is a small moulded wood cornice and a Welsh slate hipped roof. Each house has in the ground floor an early C19 pilastered door frame with a small moulded hood and a sash window with shutters; in the upper storeys are 2 plain sash windows in moulded wood frames, those in the 1st floor having cornices, all with glazing bars.

Nos 1 to 9 (consec) form a group.
