Description
Nos 6 to 9 on Magpie Lane are a row of four terrace houses built in the early 19th century, after 1818. The ground floor features ashlar stonework on a plinth above cellars, while the first and second floors are finished in stucco, with a continuous stone band at the first floor level. Each house has a small moulded wood cornice and a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate. The ground floor includes an early 19th-century pilastered door frame topped with a small moulded hood, along with a sash window that has shutters. On the upper floors, there are two plain sash windows in moulded wood frames, with the first-floor windows featuring cornices, all equipped with glazing bars. Nos 1 to 9 together form a cohesive group.
