Description

Nos 124 to 127 on Milton Road are a small terrace of four houses built around 1820. They are three storeys tall with attics and have a stucco finish. The ground floor features rusticated detailing. Each house has a mansarded slate roof with one dormer. The terrace includes a parapet, cornice, and stringcourse. There is a continuous iron balcony on the first floor. Each house has two sash windows, with glazing bars still intact only on Nos 126 and 127. The first-floor windows are framed with moulded architrave surrounds and have pediments above them. The ground floor windows are round-headed, and the doorways are also round-headed, featuring semi-circular fanlights. Nos 124 to 127 form a cohesive group.
