Description
146 Milton Road is a corner building dating from around 1850. It stands three storeys tall, constructed of stock brick with a stuccoed ground floor. The Milton Road elevation features four sash windows, while there is one sash window in the rounded angle between the two street elevations. The Grove elevation has nine sash windows, plus an additional six sash windows in a two-storey extension that matches the original style. The building has a parapet and a dentilled cornice, with intact glazing bars. The first-floor windows are adorned with moulded architraves, and the ground floor has round-headed windows set in arcading. The entrance features a doorcase with Tuscan columns positioned at the angle of the building. Nos 144 to 146 Milton Road form a group.
