Description
Nos 144 and 145 on Milton Road are a corner property, likely built around 1850. The building is three storeys high and is finished in stucco. It features seven windows facing Milton Road, five window spaces facing the Grove, and one window in the rounded angle between these two fronts. The design includes a dentilled cornice and parapet, with a stringcourse above the ground floor. The ground floor windows are round-headed and have architraves and keystones above them. The first-floor windows are set in rusticated surrounds with architraves above, while the second-floor windows have moulded surrounds. The glazing bars are intact. There is a modern rusticated doorway in the rounded angle, which has an iron balcony above it. The west front has two bays on the ground floor. Nos 144 to 146 form a group.
