Description
Nos 4 and 5 Kybald Street is a 2-storey almshouse built in 1816, fulfilling the charitable intentions of John Parsons, an alderman who died in 1814. The building is constructed from coursed rubble and sits on a stone moulded plinth. It features a moulded string course at the first floor and under the parapet, which rises in the center to accommodate an inscription panel. The ground and first floors have four 2-light stone mullioned windows, each with square moulded labels. There are also two front doorways, each with 4-centred heads and moulded square labels. All the listed buildings on Kybald Street are part of a group.
