Description
No 2 Kybald Street is a house dating from the 17th century, with later additions to the west and east. It is three storeys high, constructed with roughcast timber framing and features cellars, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The west elevation showcases a 18th-century boxed-out ground floor with a balcony above. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has a two-light casement window set in an early 19th-century wooden frame, accompanied by a small iron balcony. The south elevation of the main house features an overhang at the first floor, similar sash windows, and an early 19th-century door frame. A drawing by J C Buckler from 1821 is available in the Bodleian Library.
