Description
The stables located to the south of Number 5 on Magpie Lane date from the 16th to 17th century and are constructed of rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The building is now divided internally into two rooms. The roof timbers appear to be mainly ancient. On the west wall, near the south of the coachway, there is a date inscribed as 1818. The stables are part of a group with Nos 1 to 9 on the same street.
