Description

No. 3 Magpie Lane is a house that dates from the 17th century, featuring a two-storey structure made of coursed rubble. An addition from the 18th century has been built on, which is timber-framed and roughcast, topped with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. The ground floor includes a three-light stone window with hollow-moulded mullions and a plain doorway. On the first floor, there are two 18th-century sash windows set in moulded wood frames. The added top storeys also feature two 18th-century sash windows, with the upper ones still having their original glazing bars. The front of the building was refaced in 1958. Nos. 1 to 9 Magpie Lane form a group.
