Description
No. 11 Pembroke Street is a house dating from the late 17th century, which has been refronted and altered in the 18th century. It is three stories tall, built with a timber frame and covered in stucco, and features cellars. The first floor has an overhang and there is a moulded string course at the second floor. The ground floor is weatherboarded. In the attic, above a moulded wood eaves cornice, there is a large dormer that contains three 2-light casement windows. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, and there is a red brick chimney stack. The first and second floors each have a single sash window and a three-light sash window, all in wood frames. The rear of the house is also stuccoed. Inside, there are some 18th-century doors and a fireplace. Nos. 11 to 28 Pembroke Street form a group.
