Description

Oriel College's North Range, built in 1485, is part of the Back Quadrangle. The library, constructed in 1788 by architect James Wyatt and mason Edward Edge, is made of Windrush stone, with some Northleigh hardstone, Headington ashlar, and Bibury stone. The Senior Common Room on the ground floor was fitted out in 1796.
