Description
No 5 on Oriel Street is an early 18th-century house that stands five stories tall. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a stucco finish, featuring cellars and a shop front adorned with a modillioned cornice and panelled pilaster strips. The first and second floors each have three sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded wood frames. Above the second floor, there is a moulded cornice. The top two stories were added later and each has two sash windows. Inside, the house includes an original staircase. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 on Oriel Square and Nos 1 to 10 and No 12 on Oriel Street.
