Description

This is a wall located approximately 20 meters to the east of Castle House, likely built in the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed squared marlstone and limestone ashlar. The low wall features a three-course triangular coping and extends about 10 meters south from a 20th-century rubble pier to a broad 17th-century ashlar pier. This pier has an irregular capping made up of several courses of weatherings that support a 20th-century ball finial. The wall is part of a pair of piers and is included for its group value.
