Description

This is a wall located approximately 20 metres east of The Manor House, dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and lias, featuring some alternating wide and narrow courses in parts, along with ironstone coping. The side facing The Manor House includes some brickwork. There is a raised section to the west of the church's west door that has a moulded doorway with a plank door. The wall stands about 2 metres high, tapering down to 1 metre on the left, and stretches approximately 40 metres in length, with a short return section on the right. This wall is included for its group value.
