WROXTON MIDDLE LANE SP3941 (North side) Balscote 9/238 The Cottage II House. Mid C17. Coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched thatched roof. Brick ridge stack. 2-unit plan. Single storey plus attic. 2-window range. Panelled/glazed door to right has moulded wood frame, and is flanked by 2-light casements with wood lintels. A blocked opening on left has a wood lintel. 2 eyebrow dormers with 2-light wood casements. Later extension to rear. Interior not inspected.
