Description
The Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century, constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and featuring a steeply pitched thatched roof with a brick ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey plus attic, with a two-window range. To the right, there is a panelled and glazed door set in a moulded wood frame, flanked by two-light casement windows with wood lintels. A blocked opening on the left also has a wood lintel. The house includes two eyebrow dormers, each with two-light wood casements. There is a later extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
