Description

This 17th-century stable and barn is located approximately 50 meters southwest of Manor Farmhouse in Balscote. The structure is made of coursed ironstone rubble and features a corrugated iron roof. The stable has a wide entrance with a plank door and a moulded stone head. Flanking the entrance are three-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds and label stops. The barn, situated to the right, consists of three bays. Both buildings have Queen strut roofs that were renewed in the 19th century. This site is included for its group value.
