Description
This is a house, now divided into two dwellings, dating from the 18th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with wooden lintels, featuring plain-tile and Stonesfield-slate roofing and brick stacks. The building has a 3-unit plan with a long rear wing, which has also been subdivided. The front has two storeys and three windows. The central doorway has been altered, and a second entrance has been inserted to the left. Windows in the outer bays and at the first floor have 16-pane sash windows from the 19th century. The roof includes a stack to the right gable and another to the left of the centre. Number 5, on the left-hand side, has a rubble rear wing covered with stone-slate roofing. The interiors have not been inspected.
