Description
Nos. 36 and 38 Sheep Street is a building that dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and has been altered in the 20th century. Originally a house, it is now divided into two shops and a dwelling. The exterior features rendered walls and a Welsh-slate roof. The building is a single range, extended to the rear, and stands three storeys high with a five-window front. It has projecting strips on either side and includes 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 9-pane sash windows above. In the first two bays, there are 20th-century bay windows at the first floor, along with 20th-century shop fronts. The roof has a shallow pitch. The interior has not been inspected.
