Description

No. 26 Sheep Street is a building that likely dates from the early to mid-18th century and was altered in the early 19th century. It consists of two shops and a dwelling. The exterior features rendered walls and a Welsh-slate roof with brick end stacks. The building has a main range and a rear wing, standing two storeys plus attics, which have been raised to three storeys. The front has two windows, with 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 9-pane sash windows above. A high parapet conceals a steep-pitched roof. The shop fronts were updated in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
