Description

This headstone, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 3 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael in Barford St. Michael. It is made of ironstone and features scrolled shoulders with a skull decoration at the top. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the body of Mary Fearnes daughter of ... who died 17 of ? Ano Dom 1675."
