Description

This headstone, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 27 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. Made of ironstone, it features scrolled shoulders and a skull decoration. The panel is framed by Ionic columns. The inscription is mostly illegible but includes the date 'the 1 of October 164(?)7'. The reverse side of the headstone displays a different style of lettering.
