Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of squared, coursed ironstone and features a raised, steeply pitched pantile roof with two renewed brick ridge stacks. The building has a three-unit plan and is two storeys high, with a three-window range. The entrance, located to the left, has a plank door with a wooden lintel and is flanked by a three-light metal casement window in a wooden frame, both with chamfered wooden lintels. To the right of the entrance, there is a blocked window and a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel. On the first floor, there are three two-light metal casement windows in wooden frames, also with wooden lintels. These windows feature lead cames and wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs. Inside the building has not been inspected. The Cottage is included for its group value.
