Description
Eaves Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later alterations and 20th-century additions. It is constructed of finely jointed coursed squared ironstone and features a raised 20th-century tile roof. The building has four brick ridge and end stacks and originally had a three-unit plan, which was extended to a four-unit plan in the 20th century. The house is two storeys tall and has a six-window range. There are two entrances with 20th-century doors. The ground floor includes two, three, and four-light metal casement windows, while the first floor has six similar windows. Most of the windows feature lead cames, wrought-iron casement fasteners, springs, and wooden lintels. The building also has ironstone quoins. The interior has not been inspected.
