Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1699, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of ashlar ironstone and features a steeply pitched slate roof with stone-coped gables. The building has three brick ridge and end stacks set on stone bases. The layout follows a three-unit through-passage plan and consists of two storeys plus an attic, with a four-window range.

The entrance is located off-centre to the right and includes a six-panelled door with a divided overlight and a hood above. Flanking the entrance are a three-light casement window with a chamfered wood lintel and a canted bay window. To the left, there is a single-light window and a 20th-century window, both with wood lintels. On the first floor, there are four renewed three-light casements, also featuring chamfered wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
