Description

This building is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of squared coursed ironstone. It features a steeply pitched red-tile roof, with a large brick ridge stack and an end stack, as well as a stone end stack on the left that has a renewed brick shaft. The left gable is stone-coped and has moulded kneelers. The house has a 4-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a five-window range. The entrance is off-centre to the right and includes a panelled and glazed door beneath a chamfered wood lintel. To the left of the entrance are two- and three-light metal casements set in wood frames, and to the right is a three-light window of a similar style, all with wood lintels. The first floor features five similar two- or three-light windows, also with chamfered wood lintels. The windows contain crown glass and are fitted with wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs. The left side of the building has ironstone quoins, and there is a fire plaque and wood lintel on the first floor to the left, along with a tie-bar on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
