Description

Manor Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century, with 18th-century dormers. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched slate roof. The building has stone-coped gables with moulded kneelers and stone end stacks that have renewed brick shafts. The house has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic. There is a 20th-century entrance on the left with an overlight. The ground floor includes a 5-light stone mullioned window that has a hood mould and label stop. The first floor has an outshot to the rear. It is noted as a tall parlour block addition attached to a simpler adjoining structure. The interior has not been inspected.
