Description

Wisteria Cottage is a house dating to the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone, with a raised slate roof, a stone-coped gable on the left side, and a brick ridge stack. The house follows a 2-unit plan. It has two storeys and a 2-window front. An off-centre entrance on the right has a 4-panelled door with an overlight and panelled reveals. The entrance is flanked by a 3-light and a 4-light metal casement window, both with chamfered wood lintels. The first floor has a similar window arrangement. Wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs are present. The interior was not inspected. The cottage is included on the list for group value.
