Description

The headstone to Elizabeth Tompkins, dated 1699, is located approximately 15 metres northwest of the tower of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. It is made of ironstone and features a cambered head with a skull and crossbones. The headstone has lugged architraves, an incised panel, and an inscription dedicated to Elizabeth, who was the wife of Nicholas Tompkins.
