Description

The tomb of John Tompkins, who died in 1720, is located in the churchyard of St Mary, three yards to the west of the Savage tomb. It is a table tomb made of stone, featuring swelling corner balusters and panelled sides. The top is a marble slab that includes an inscription and a crest.
