Description
The Artesian Well is a former well house that has been converted into a residence, built in 1798. It is constructed of brown brick and features a domed cement roof. The building is octagonal and has three storeys, with one window on each face; however, alternate faces are blind. The other openings were converted into sashed windows in 1975 during the conversion into a house. There are brick bands between the storeys and a square-headed panelled door. At the rear, there is a 20th-century extension that is in keeping with the original structure.
