Description

This building is a shop and house known as General Stores and attached Property, dating from the mid-19th century. The store features a ground floor made of red brick in Flemish bond, with a weatherboarded first floor and a slate roof adorned with scrolled bargeboards. It is two storeys high and has two windows, which contain 16-pane sash windows, along with a late 19th-century shopfront. The adjoining house also has a ground floor of red brick and a weatherboarded first floor, topped with a slate roof. This house is two storeys tall and has three windows, all of which are 16-pane sashes. The central entrance has a doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets and a six-panelled door.
