Description

Mounts Farm Barn is a former barn, now used as a showroom and workshop, largely dating from the 18th century, with some elements from the 16th century. The exterior is weatherboarded above a brick plinth, and it is roofed with tiles, with a half-hipped roof to the south. The interior consists of five bays, with an aisle on one side, featuring an internal wall constructed of Tudor brickwork. The barn has jowled posts and staggered purlins, without a ridge piece. A pigeon loft, containing nesting boxes, is set within the south gable.
