Description

This is a late 18th-century barn located at Babbs Farmhouse. It is a timber-framed structure, with weatherboarding cladding set on a brick plinth. The barn has a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles. It originally comprised five bays and features a central cart entrance. The wall frame includes a midrail. Internally, the roof structure incorporates a collar beam, through purlins, and a ridge piece.
