Description

This is an oasthouse and granary, now used as a garage and store, located 20 yards to the northwest of Little Golford. It dates from the mid-18th century and incorporates structural components from the 16th or 17th century. The building is timber-framed and weatherboarded, featuring a plain tiled hipped roof with a cowl and wind-vane at the left end of the ridge. There is a half-catslide roof to the rear on the right side. The front has doubled boarded garage doors on the right. Inside, the structure consists of two bays with a side purlin roof that includes some collars and jowled posts. The hearth has been removed.
