Description

This is a former oasthouse, built around 1840, located to the west of Yew Tree House in Benenden. Originally a two-story structure, it has been converted into a garage. The building is weatherboarded and features an old tiled roof, half-hipped at the right end. It includes one sash window, one fixed casement window, and a hoist to the first floor. The ground floor now contains garage doors. A circular brick oast house with a conical tiled roof is attached. The cowl and fantail were missing at the time of survey. It is included on the list for its group value.
