Description

Kingsford Cottages comprise three cottages, built in the late 18th century and extended in the 20th century. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers, while the first floor is tile hung. The right side elevation is weatherboarded, and the roof is a Mansard with tiling, hipped to the right. The cottages have two storeys and three windows. There are two flat-roofed dormers in the roof, a wooden modillion eaves cornice and a tiled bell-cast between the ground and first floors. The first floor has three 16-pane sash windows with moulded architraves. The ground floor features three casement windows, some with leaded lights. Number 3 has a 6-panelled door and a 20th-century fan light casement with leaded lights. Number 4 has a mid-19th century triple sash window and a 4-panelled door. Number 5 has a triple window and a 20th-century weatherboarded extension with a wooden door.
