Description
This building is an oast and granary, now used as a store, located 25 yards west of Four Wents Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century and features a timber frame with red brick cladding on the ground floor to the south and parts of other sides, while the rest is weatherboarded. The roofs are plain tiled and have a half hipped design with a deep catslide outshot at the rear that wraps around two capped oasts. The granary is two stories tall and has an irregular arrangement of windows, including three on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all with shutters. There is a small casement window to the right of the left-hand first floor shutter. The right-hand end has two doors; the left door is boarded, and the right door is of stable type.
