Description

Temple House originally comprised two houses, built in the early 19th century. It is a four-storey building faced with Roman cement. The ground floor is rusticated, with a castellated parapet and cornice above. The design features two curved bays and a recessed porch with a pointed head containing two doorways. Temple House, together with Nos. 52 and 55 and the adjacent pavement, contributes to a notable architectural group.
