Description
The Tunbridge Wells Adult Education Centre is a building of group value, constructed in 1902. Designed by Henry T Hare, it is an example of the Art Nouveau style. The building is three storeys high and constructed of red brick with a stone plinth. It features three large stone dormer windows on the second floor, along with seven casement windows. The ground floor has three large bays. An enriched frieze runs above the first floor. The main entrance is accentuated by a round-headed doorcase with a curved open pediment decorated with shell and scroll motifs.
