Description

Nos 9 and 10 on Crescent Road are a pair of early 19th-century houses designed by Decimus Burton. They are two storeys high with attics and a semi-basement, constructed from Tunbridge Wells stone. The hipped slate roof features two hipped dormers. The houses have a total of six sash windows, with the central four located in a projecting section. Some Regency blinds are still present, and the glazing bars remain intact on the first floor only. Originally, the ground floor included a canopied verandah, which has since been removed. The doorcases are set back in stone porches, and there are steps leading up to the street.
