Description

CALVERLEY PARK 1. 1746 Victoria Lodge TQ 5839 SE 7/114 20.5.52. II* GV 2. Early C19. This consists of a high carriage arch with a single storey lodge or room on each side, their west fronts flanked with fluted Doric half columns supporting a heavy entablature. One window each in moulded stone surrounds, the windows being wider at the bottom than at the top. Glazing bars intact. The northern of these 2 lodges or rooms has an additional later building with pointed roof on the east side of the arch. Victoria Lodge forms a group with Keston Lodge and Nos 1 to 24 (consec) Calverley Park.
