Description
Nos 8 to 14 on Nevill Street are a mid-19th century terrace built around 1835. The building stands three storeys high with a basement and is finished in stucco. It features a slate roof with a parapet and a dropped moulded eaves cornice. There is a stringcourse between the second and first floors. The terrace includes nine sash windows, all with intact glazing bars, set in moulded architraves. Number 14 has a contemporary shop front and a right-side doorcase with pilasters and a rectangular fanlight, along with wrought iron shop sign brackets. Numbers 8 and 12 have similar doorcases with cornices, pilasters, and rectangular fanlights, while number 10 has a plain doorcase with a rectangular fanlight. The ground floor of numbers 8, 10, and 12 features a 13-light sash window. Numbers 2 to 14 form a group.
