Description
33 The Pantiles is a building from 1746 located on the southeast side. It is an early 19th-century structure with three storeys and a cemented exterior. The building features a parapet and cornice, with a stringcourse above the first floor. Pilasters flank the front from the first to the second floor. There are two curved bays, each with three lights, on the first and second floors, and the glazing bars are intact. An iron balcony is present on the first floor, along with a mid-19th-century shop window. The southeast side of the building is tile hung. The right side doorcase includes a rectangular fanlight and a three-panelled door. Number 33, along with numbers 39 to 43 (odd), forms a group.
